Psychemyth 9

by Patrick Stack

Psychemyth 9 audio

Psychemyth 9 dates back to the late 1970s and has since been reworked. It is taken from my second poetry collection, Rage (Revival Press, 2017) and is a companion poem to Leftovers which is placed immediately after it. The cactus on line 1 refers to the sculpture of the same name outside the New Arts Block, Trinity College Dublin where the poem was conceived.
This recording was made on 24 July 2020.
