Bhuelby Patrick Stack
Bhuel is a macaronic sonnet in Irish and English – a lament on the grievous harm perpetrated upon our language and heritage by the evils of colonialism, and a curse upon that empire.
It is published in Patrick Stack’s first poetry collection, The Parting (Amethyst Dragon, 2013), and was recorded at the poet’s home on 03 April 2020.
