One day i happen to be reading Cults of the Shadow by Kenneth Grant. i'm at chapter five and reading a very interesting excerpt from the Magical Record of a certain Frater Iadnamad when i come across certain proof of the validity of my experience. it is to be found on page 90 and comprises the entry for december 20th which runs as follows:

'I got a better vision of the anal centre. It is a dull red with a flaming scarlet middle. As concentration increases the scarlet expands to engulf most of the lotus.'

as i haven't read this far into the book before, it is proof beyond doubt that the experience is of Muladhara [8] and that the Serpent has awoken.
